Baby Flutters & finding out

BABY FLUTTERS: Ok, so for the last few weeks i have thought i was crazy.... I knew i felt the baby, but everyone thought it was too early and as brady put it "your high" i know nice of him right? actually it just came down to the fact that he didnt really want to be the last one to feel the baby.... which i guess out of me and him its fate he'll be last... but i understand he just wants to be a part of it as well.

I was sitting there a few weeks ago the 9th to be exact... and i thought i felt something. then after he said it was probably too early, and a couple other people did too i just pushed it to the side as gas.... well i felt it again the last two days.... SIGNIFICANTLY the baby not gas.... so now that i had felt it bigger this time i know i wasn't crazy then :) what an exciting thing..... {whats your opinion on the matter}

FINDING OUT: as far as finding out what we are having, we get to in 3 LONG weeks... its going to seem like it is never going to come!!! our appointment is on Wed. Oct. 13th in the morning... but me and brady have decided that we want to go to the dr and have him tell us everything he can about the baby EXCEPT for the sex. WE will have him put the pictures and the Gender in an envelope and take it home. At first we were going to see who could go the longest without wanting to know.. but i know i'd lose, so we are going to keep it in the envelope until that night and then go out to dinner, with both sets of parents.. I think that will be so exciting and fun! brady knows i'm a peeker.... so he's already decided he gets to hold onto the envelope until we to dinner. (i didnt think it was fair but i guess its true :) and then I get to OPEN it :) i guess its a good deal....

Lake to the Powell

So the title kind of explains itself.. we went to LAKE POWELL!!! i had a blast. We all did! i dont have all the best pictures because Duane (the owner of the houseboat- aka our friends dad) took most of them.. cliff jumping, swimming, ect. cause he wanted to put a cd together.. so i took random ones here and there but that was it....... here are some of the ones i had on my camera..... oh and quick note.. lake powell is ALOT different being preggo than i thought it would be.
1. i couldnt cliff jump- my dr. had told me that i couldn't
2. I had to sit at the back of the ski boat where it was less bumpy.. instead of up in the front in the sun
3. i had to wear ALOT of sunscreen- everyone told me i would get fried being pregnant, so i kept putting sunscreen 30 on and well i came back with a load of NOTHING, i guess its good i'm not miserable though.. so it could be worse
4. the 8 hour dr. and having to make people stop so i could go to the bathroom, or holding it until i almost died was difficult
5. sleeping was kind of different cause i couldnt get comfy and i always ended up falling asleep before most of the people

but all in all i had a ton of fun! and i wish i didnt have to come home yet. we went up a lot of canyons, swam alot, played a lot of card games, ate ALOT and sat in the sun and soked it up!! what a blast..... we're already thinking about going again next year!

oh ya.... our trip was going great until about an hour away from our destination one of the drivers hit a deer... :( it sucked! but we got back on the road and got to antelope point and headed out.......

14 weeks & finally feeling preggo

So i will be fourteen weeks on saturday. CRAZY!  time is just flying by. Well the other day i had my first back ache. (it was so bad i fell to my knees and thought it was dealing with my kidney's) so i haven't been able to sleep. (but the sleep being a pain would probably happen whether this back ache had happened or not).  So i decided since i was going to lake powell in a few weeks i should make sure if it is dealing with my kidney's that i get it taken care of before i go. Well i spent FOREVER in the Dr. office yesterday. They did routine things like the beginning of every appt, but today i felt so OFF.... my blood pressure was high- 140something over 90, i had lost a pound, and i needed to do a urine sample.. well i went in there and i couldnt pee. that was a FIRST... so they gave me a bottle of water, made me wait and try again... that was kinda embarrassing! haha but they finally got it and took me back into wait for the dr. while we were waiting we got to listen to the heart beat.. its high again but came down a smidge it was 150. When the dr. finally came in we talked he pushed on my back and he told me it had nothing to do with my kidney's. there was no tissue, leukocytes or anything in my urine so i was safe, he also ruled out kidney stones because there was no blood in my urine either... WELL FREAK.. is my body so out of shape, and in such a dramatic change that it is being wimpy? i guess so! i have my regular appt. next tuesday. so we'll see if i feel better by then :)

as far as other pregnancy symptoms and signs if thats what you want to call it.......... do you guys believe in food cravings? i know i didnt. i had heard that it was a myth from forever ago and never believed it.. well you'd be surprised.... people eat weird things and they say, What? your the pregnant one, this should sound good to you.... not really happeneing.. the only thing that is kinda weird that i enjoy eating is spagetteos. i LOVE them! :) i eat them at least every other day! and Milk.. haha.. weird i know! but i guess food cravings is a real thing.... who would have thought!

oh.. and i'm just waiting for my belly to pop out.. nothing yet. so we'll see. it will probably happen when i'm in a swim suit in lake powell.. great... for all of you preggo or, mommy's out there--- when did you start showing?
